SINCE 50 YEARS

Harsh Pumps is a deeply rooted name in the water pumping industry. Since its inception in the year 1968, Harsh Pumps has been an undisputed leader in the pumping segment in Gujarat. The quest for quality imbibed in the genes of founder Shri Pravinbhai Ajmera resulted in flow of products which were high on efficiency and low on energy consumption. This gave them a clear edge and helped the company reach its present level.

STRENGTH

Balancing
  • Each and every rotor and impeller is balanced using balancing machine with unbalance kept in micron range.
  • Due to this, we achieve less vibrations in the pump and achieve better efficiency.
Deburring
  • For removing burrs and sharp edges from non-ferrous impellers, deburring process is done.
  • Due to this we get better finishing of impeller, less wear and tear, improved life of impeller and better performance."
Grinding
  • Grinding of rotor shaft is done after final machining of the rotor.
  • Due to this, runout of rotor shaft is minimized which inturn help in reducing wear and tear of shaft-bush assembly.
  • It also increase the surface finish of the rotor shaft.
Investment Casting
  • Investment casting is used in self priming pump casing.
  • Due to this, we receive better surface finish, durability and mostly importantly better discharge and head. "
Shell Core
  • We utilize shell core to make brass impellers which gives much better finishing than core box-pattern type impellers.
  • Due to this, we achieve better finish of impeller, improved discharge and head of pump, increased life of impeller due to reduction in wear and tear.
CNC Machine
  • Components like impeller, rotor shaft which require precision machining is done in CNC machine.
  • Due to this, we achieve accurate dimensions of the component which inturn help in increasing the efficiency as well as the life of product.
Burnishing
  • After rotor grinding is done, burnishing process is done on rotor shaft.
  • Due to this, rotor shaft bush surface become super finished which inturn reduces friction between shaft and bush and increases life of both.
  • It also helps the pump to move freely.
In house Foundry
  • In house Foundry for non ferrous metals like HTB1, LTB4 & GM
